Art'GentiK is an artistic creation that blends hip-hop dance and photography to explore transformation, encounters and our relationship with images. Inspired by Nicéphore Niépce, one of the inventors of photography, the show questions the meaning and feeling of a photo, an image, in our modern lives. The dancers interact with the camera, creating contrasting, minimalist images that tell stories and evoke emotions. They play with the postures of the photographer and the distortion of reality, exploring how photography influences our perception of ourselves in the digital age.
