The Barbican A portal of battlements from the 15th century, which name means “trap” in Arabic.
The Sauvigny Gate (1444) Its name comes from the name of a former tax collector. There were 2 drawbridges : a small one on the left for the pedestrians and a bigger one in the centre for carts and horseriders.
The Guillier Gate (13th century)
The Sauvigny Gate was joined to the Guillier Gate to strengthen the gatehouse.
The Fontaignotte Gate
