Le Moulin de L'O - L'Orle Rose

The gîte has a maximum capacity of 3 people and is composed of a bright living room, two bedrooms, a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances: fridge, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kitchen utensils, plates, cups and utensils... You can enjoy making your coffee while admiring the Armançon river, thanks to the kitchen window overlooking the spillway.
The bright living room has unique chairs, carefully renovated by a local craftsman into original and unique creations.
The gîte has two separate bedrooms: a double room with a 160 x 200 bed, and a single room with a 112 x 190 bed. The double room overlooks the river, where you can fall asleep to the sound of the lapping water.
Just outside the living room, the terrace with outside dining table and relaxation area (2 deckchairs), is absolutely unique in the centre of Semur en Auxois: it allows guests, in complete privacy, to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or... a tasty glass of red Burgundy wine, in the middle of plants and flowers and overlooking the Armançon.
At your disposal: very high speed internet with Wifi 6, freshly laundered sheets and towels for all travellers, bath towels, as well as all consumables, including coffee, tea, washing-up liquid and much more. A special note: we will drop off a donkey's milk soap, made just for you, by a local artisan.
The property is spread over three hectares: enjoy a sunny afternoon on our huge peninsula: a peaceful haven without any opposite where you will have at your disposal places to relax (swing, hammock for two persons, stone bench and small table). Here you can enjoy the fresh air and take unique photos.
Due to the proximity of the river we do not accept children under the age of 13 and those who cannot swim.
The gîte is in a restricted traffic area: we have a private driveway that can accommodate 3 cars. Parking is provided directly in front of the house.

Semur en Auxois, the historic capital of the Auxois region, is a town of nearly 4,500 inhabitants which offers a real journey through time through its narrow streets and emblematic monuments. The Collegiate Church, the Donjon and its fortifications are very interesting places to visit: given the location of the gite, you can reach all the places of interest in the town on foot, no need to use the car.
We also provide free bicycles, which will allow you to reach all the artistic and gastronomic beauties that our city offers, or to go to the Lake of Pont . At the lake, you can enjoy the beach, in season water skiing, pedalos or go around the lake with a 13 km path.
Semur en Auxois, by car, is situated 8 kms from the A6 motorway (exit 23) and is half way between Paris and Lyon. The train station of Montbard is 15 km away (TGV Paris-Montbard 1 hour), connection by bus or taxi, bus stop 5 minutes away.

If you book 48 hours in advance, you can enjoy a dinner served in front of your door, ready to heat up. The meal is prepared by the restaurant La Cuisine de La Fontaignotte. Two menus are available (seasonal or vegetarian menu) entirely homemade from fresh farm produce and from local, sustainable agriculture. The menu changes regularly according to the seasons and the availability of products. Menus cost 26 € per person. The meal is adapted in recycled glass jars.
