Prehistoric station of the Genay bone breach
In Genay, at a place called "La grande Borne", you will discover the curious menhir of Sainte-Christine. It is an elongated block of pink granite 3.27 m high, a tumulus.
According to the legend, Saint Christine was chased away by her father who threw her into the sea with a block of pink granite.
The stone was transformed into a miraculous raft that sailed up the Seine, the Yonne and the Armançon to run aground at Viserny and serve to demarcate the territory of the finage between Jeux and Genay.
