Le Moulin de L'O- L'Orle Nature

This gîte can accommodate up to 4 people and is composed of a living room opening onto a large equipped kitchen opening onto a terrace, two bedrooms, a shower room, separate toilet and laundry room.

Enjoy a kitchen equipped with appliances: fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, coffee bean machine, crockery from the Poterie d'Alesia... You can enjoy preparing your coffee while admiring the Armançon river or the pink granite from the terrace.

The sofa and chairs have been carefully renovated by a local craftsman into original and unique creations.

The gîte has two separate bedrooms with 160 x 200 bedding.

The terrace with outdoor dining table is absolutely unique in the centre of Semur en Auxois: it allows guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or... a tasty glass of red Burgundy wine in complete privacy.

At your disposal: high speed internet with Wifi, freshly laundered sheets and towels for all travellers, bath towels, as well as all consumables, including coffee, tea, washing-up liquid and much more. A special note: we will drop off a donkey's milk soap, made just for you, by a local artisan.

The property is spread over three hectares: enjoy a sunny afternoon on our huge peninsula: a peaceful haven without any opposite where you will have at your disposal places to relax (swing, hammock for two persons, stone bench and small table). Here you can enjoy the fresh air and take unique photos.

The gite is in a restricted traffic area: we have a private driveway that can accommodate 3 cars. Parking is provided directly in front of the house.

Semur en Auxois, the historic capital of the Auxois region, is a town of nearly 4,500 inhabitants that offers a real journey through time through its narrow streets and emblematic monuments. The Collegiate Church, the Donjon and its fortifications are very interesting places to visit: given the location of the gite, you can reach all the places of interest in the town on foot, no need to use the car.

We also provide free bicycles, which will allow you to reach all the artistic and gastronomic beauties that our city offers, or to go to the Lake of Pont . At the lake you can enjoy the beach, in season water skiing, pedalos or go around the lake with a 13 km path.

Semur en Auxois, by car, is situated 8 kms from the A6 motorway (exit 23) and is halfway between Paris and Lyon. Montbard train station is 15 km away (TGV Paris-Montbard 1 hour), bus or taxi connection, bus stop 5 minutes away.

If you book 48 hours in advance, you can enjoy a dinner served in front of your door, ready to heat up. The meal is prepared by the restaurant La Cuisine de La Fontaignotte. Two menus are available (seasonal or vegetarian menu) entirely homemade from fresh farm produce and from local, sustainable agriculture. The menu changes regularly according to the seasons and the availability of products. Menus cost 24 € per person. The meal is adapted in recycled glass jars.
