Maggy Geoffroy-Doyen works quickly, by periods, by impulse, influenced by her reading, her travels, current events and nature in all its forms, not forgetting music and spirituality.
Rather than representation, she seeks to establish a dialogue between the painting and the public: what is looking at us and who is looking at us.
She paints for that magical moment when the painting escapes her.
